Dale Gordon, FNP-C Joins the Pines Health Services Primary Care Team
Caribou, Maine – Dec. 5, 2023 – Pines Health Services announced today that Dale Gordon, FNP-C a board-certified family and emergency nurse practitioner is now providing primary care in the St. John Valley Health Center.
“We are excited that Dale is now part of our incredible primary care team,” said Lisa Caron, Chief Operating Officer at Pines Health Services. “She brings a wealth of experience in primary and emergency care that our patients will benefit from.”
Gordon’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts from Smith College, a Master of Science in Nursing from McGill University, and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Rural Family Nurse Practitioner from University of Maine in Orono.
Like many health professionals in rural Maine, she has a diverse work history since her recruitment to Cary Hospital in Caribou in 1981. Her teaching experience includes faculty of nursing at Northern Maine Community College and University of Maine at Fort Kent. Her clinical experience includes primary care at Full Circle Health Care, Horizons Family Practice clinics, and the Micmac Nation. She achieved national certification as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) for both adults and pediatrics with additional training in child abuse. Currently, she is one of the few board-certified emergency nurse practitioners in Maine.
Gordon is also currently employed in the emergency department at Cary Medical Center in Caribou and has been providing part-time emergency care for more than 20 years.
